.040" styrene was cut so that the journal and leaf springs are showing through.


The disfiguration of the door and hood is intentional. The look I want is that of a well used industrial switcher.
i.e. plenty of dings, dents, grease and rust. The side panels on the hood are just leaning upright.
They were cut from .010" styrene.


Can't wait to start building some gondolas that this loco can knock around. A couple of the Binnie Engineering
tippers would look right at home behind this loco.


Yes the snarl in the hood was intentional. I've since done away with the snarled
hood in favor of one that hangs over the sides a little more.


The ends will have buffers with slots for links and a pins.


I have very few frames of reference as to the size of things in SM32 so I formed Clyde from some 14 gauge
copper wire. He's probably about the right size to comfortably operate this locomotive.
