Prototype Data - Milwaukee Road 2100-2149 series boxcars
These cars were purchased by the Milwaukee Road from General American (GATC) in 1960. Cars were equipped with Standard Railway Supply R-3/4 improved Dreadnaught ends and overhanging diagonal panel roof. Cars were delivered boxcar red with large yellow stripe the length of the car side, black ends and silver roof. In later years the cars were repainted solid boxcar red. Cars were used in canned food and general merchandise service. The last cars were retired by 2000.
